
A world-famous cocktail that balances the heat of smooth Irish whiskey and bold coffee with a cool layer of floating cream. It is a perfect harmony of bitter, sweet, and creamy notes, served piping hot.
1. Preheat & Sweeten: Rinse a heat-proof glass with hot water. Add two teaspoons of brown sugar and a hot double shot of coffee. 2. Add Spirit: Pour in 45ml of Irish whiskey and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. 3. Prep Cream: Lightly whip heavy cream until it is thickened but still pourable (do not whip to stiff peaks). 4. The Float: Pour the cream over the back of a warm spoon so it sits on top of the coffee. Do not stir. 5. Serve: Drink the hot coffee and whiskey through the layer of cool cream.
